A design appointment is an hour long session where you will sit with our manager designing your beautiful tattoo piece. He takes a photo of the part of your body you want to tattoo and photoshops the picture over your skin making it seem you’re already tattooed in the photo! Once the design is exactly how you wanted it to be, he’ll discuss prices and appointment dates with you for the artist that is best suited to tattoo your piece.
We do not charge for an in-person consultation/tattoo design appointment. Once we set an appointment for the tattoo, we charge up to $200 for a non-refundable deposit towards the cost of your tattoo.
We recommend coming into your tattoo design appointment with several ideas and images of what you’d want for your tattoo. We also recommend coming in with an open mind about placement and design. We say this because sometimes the design or placement won’t work out due to numerous factors.
Taking care of your tattoo is very important as it determines the final look of your tattoo. For detailed information click on our after-care page.

Space Coast ink offers clean and sterilized tools and jewelry and we also have one-time-use equipment. This ensures your piercing comes out perfect. We also use Titanium jewelry which is included with the cost of your piercing. Upgrades are also available.
We use Titanium jewelry because it is hypoallergenic and nickel free. Titanium is ideal for new piercings. Titanium jewelry won’t oxidize, tarnish or react with skin. Other metals such as silver contain large amounts of nickel which can easily irritate the skin.
At Space Coast Ink we do sell jewelry for your piercings. We do have different jewelry options such as surgical steel, titanium and we also carry 18k and 14k gold.
We recommend waiting a minimum of 3 months before switching the jewelry out. This ensures proper healing time for your piercing.
We prefer appointments but we also do take walk-ins on a first come, first serve basis.
Unfortunately the answer is no. Due to the regulations of the Florida Health Department we only use single-use sterile jewelry and can't use outside jewelry.

This eyebrow enhancement technique, which is sometimes called eyebrow embroidery or 3D brows, is completed with the manual method of tattooing. Using a very fine blade, our Permanent Makeup Tattoo Artists will add pigmentation into the skin. Since the color is deposited so close to the skin’s surface, it makes the strokes appear fine, crisp and natural looking.
Microblading results can last anywhere from 1 to 3 years.
We recommend not working out until 7 days after the procedure as the salt in sweat can fade the end result.
Permanent makeup is the process of cosmetic tattooing eyebrows, lip, or eyeliner.
Permanent makeup results last a lifetime but just like with any tattoo the color will start to fade over time. We recommend getting touch ups and periodic maintenance.
When you book a tattoo appointment we require a deposit to hold your space with the artist.
Our artists are highly sought after and booking an appointment is taking away a time slot from other clients. We need to make sure that the person booking an appointment is serious about getting the tattoo done, and that if they don't show up that our artist isn't left with no money to compensate for the wasted time. It can be very hard to fill a day when we are given little to no warning that a client isn't coming, and often the artist is losing out on an opportunity to have booked a different client.
All deposits are non-refundable.
As long as you have an appointment in the system your deposit cannot be used, it will be applied as credit to your final session.
We offer free consultations and recommend them for all medium to large scale tattoos, as well as cover-ups always require a consultation. For small tattoos you do not need a consultation and are more than welcome to come to our shop as a walk-in.
Depending on the size of the tattoo we can do an hourly rate, or set price. However, there are many variables such as size, design, and placement so tattoos can only be accurately priced out in person, or with a consultation.
We offer Virtual Consultations for our out of town clients!
We're always willing to work with you on rescheduling appointments but keep in mind that we have a busy calendar and we'd appreciate if you give us at least 3-Days notice as a curtesy to our artist and allowing us time to re-book his calendar again.

Our artists may choose to put SaniDerm on your fresh tattoo, this is a great product which should simplify your tattoo aftercare significantly. Saniderm functions as a protective barrier for your fresh tattoo, preventing infection, and ensuring that it stays clean. During the healing process blood, plasma, and excess ink will bleed out of your tattoo and may gather in your SaniDerm, this is normal. Feel free to call or text us if you are worried, but otherwise leave it on for 3-5 days.
You do not need to hold on to that Saran Wrap for long, most of the time you can take it off after an hour. You can choose to leave it on overnight, but don't leave it for longer than that.
Tattoos take around 2 weeks to heal, and ideally you would avoid excessive sweating, or strenous moving of the tattooed area during that time. However, if you are truly unable to take two weeks off of your workout ruitine we highly recommend taking a minimum of three days to a week off. Sweat can cause infection! You should always clean your tattoo after sweating.
Do not put sunscreen on a fresh tattoo! Fresh tattoos do need to be kept out of direct sunlight to avoid sun damage, but until they are fully healed do not use sunscreen on them. Once healed however, we do recommend using 50spf and higher, especially on color tattoos to keep them looking fresh.
Do not get in water with a healing tattoo. Avoid soaking your fresh tattoo, and definitely avoid the ocean, pools, and hot tubs which can easily cause infections.
Tattoos go through ugly phases while healing and this is entirely normal, give your tattoo a minimum of 3 weeks before worrying too much about it. If you are worried that your tattoo is infected you can look for signs of redness, leaking of discolored fluids, or if the area feels hot to the touch. One of these alone is not enough to self-diagnose an infection, and in general you should know that most infections in tattoos are not serious since tattoos are only skin deep. However, if you see signs of infection you can reach out to us or visit an urgent care for more information. Do not use antibiotics or ointments outside of your aftercare instructions before consulting a doctor.
We sell steri-wash products in the shop including: A Saline Spray, which will promote faster healing for difficult piercings and should be used twice a day. A Mouthwash, which is for oral piercings and should be used after eating.
